Paula Graham was born on May 10, 1927 in Wilburton to Manuel Glenn and Dietha (McKinney) (Glenn) Mathews. She grew up in the Wilburton and Ash Creek area and graduated from Wilburton High School. She has lived virtually all her adult life in McAlester, after marrying John Graham in January, 1949. Paula worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses and was very proud of her affiliation and work with the Credit Women’s Association of America. She served as President of the local chapter, President at the Regional level, at the state level, then was over a several-state region. But her true passion was her family. Family always came first with Paula and she was so proud of them all. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a brother, Buddy Glenn, and a sister Dotty Allison.
