Marilyn Joyce (Miller) Davis, age 75, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Stigler, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A graveside service honoring Marilyn's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery in McAlester, Oklahoma, with Pastor Cambrin Collins officiating. A celebration of life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 417360 E. 1135 Road, Checotah, Oklahoma 74426. A luncheon will be graciously provided by the church following the celebration. Marilyn was born on September 21, 1950, in Longview, Texas, to W. H. Miller and Lydia Lucille (Garrison). She graduated from McAlester High School in 1968 and was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lynn Davis, on August 2, 1968, in McAlester, Oklahoma. She furthered her education at Draughon's Business School and went on to build a dedicated career in Tulsa. Marilyn began working at Kinney Shoes before spending approximately ten years as a bookkeeping network professional for the insurance company CFR, where she was known for her diligence and reliability. Marilyn found great joy in the simple blessings of life. She cherished time spent reading her Bible, working puzzles, camping with her family, shopping, and preparing meals and baked goods for those she loved. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Southwest Baptist Church. Marilyn will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and faith. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Lee Edwin Davis of Tulsa, Jeffrey Lynn Davis and wife, Amy of Stigler; grandchildren, Jameson Davis and Mariah Victorine of Altus, Elizabeth Norton and husband, Seth of Norman, Emily Brumley and husband, Lane of Fairfax, Malachi Davis and wife, Kara of Dover, Delaware, and Jack Davis of Norman; great-granddaughter, Lilly Joan Brumley of Fairfax; sister, Janice Stone and husband, Ezra of Edmond; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, W.H. Miller and Lydia Lucille (Garrison) Orr; her husband, Lynn Edwin Davis; and a brother, Charles Miller.
