High Hill Indian Cemetery # 1
Pittsburg County, Oklahoma

To locate this cemetery, travel of Highway 31 towards Blocker, turn right on Seven Devil's Road, turn east on the first road and go about 1/2 mile. This was the first cemetery for the people of the area located around the High Hill Indian Baptist Church. This cemetery was used until the land was sold. The new owners didn't want any more burials placed in the cemetery, so another cemetery was started down the hill, south of the church. There are NO tombstones or funeral home markers. Only rock markers.
