Emilie Laquetta Hall, 83, of Harper Valley, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at her residence. The family will greet friends and visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Harper Valley Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Hak Melton. Pallbearers will be Carson Harbuck, Austin McCord, Hayden Gill, Guy Gill, Greg Mackey, and Brian Wade Skillman. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitchel Shows, Matt Mickle, Scott Hall, Mike Hall, Gary Hall, Chris Countz, Mike Mackey, Larry Gill, Randy Bates, Paul Shows, Aaron Watkins, Johnathon Dale White, Wade Mickle, and members of the Kiowa Class of 1959. Laquetta was born to James Henry and Dorothy Nell (Adams) Hall on May 2, 1938 in Harper Valley. She attended Kiowa School and graduated in 1959. Laquetta was a homemaker. She was a gifted quilter and also loved to cross stitch. Laquetta made quilts for every family reunion. She enjoyed her annual trip to stay with Henry Lee and Deloras in Grand Prairie, Texas that always included shopping trips to Hobby Lobby for quilting supplies. She was an active life-long member of Harper Valley Baptist Church. She loved her family and church family. Laquetta was preceded in death by her parents: James Henry and Dorothy Nell Hall; brothers: Harvey Don Hall, Dale Edwin Hall; nephews: James Darby Hall, James Wade Hall; and nieces: Emilee Elizabeth Bates and Reese Harbuck. She is survived by her brother: Henry Lee Hall and wife, Deloras of Grand Prairie, Texas; sisters: Wanda Gill and husband, Larry, Marlene Mackey and husband, Michael; sister-in-law, Stella Hall, all of Harper Valley; nieces and nephews: Leea Shows and husband, Paul of Grand Prairie, Texas, Stacy Bates and husband, Randy of Joshua, Texas, Guy Gill and wife, Suzie of Morrison, Tonya Skillman and husband, Kenny of Stillwater, Kim Countz and husband, Chris of McAlester, Raye Mickle and husband, Matt of Durant, Greg Mackey and wife, Teresa of McAlester, Sherry Watkins and husband, Aaron of Atoka; great-nieces and great-nephews: Mitchell Shows, Austin McCord, Hayden Gill, Kathryn Gill, Kailee Bain, Cadee Ashley, Brian Wade Skillman, Adeline Skillman, Johnathan Dale White, Wade Mickle, Casey Mekler, Michael "Mikey" Mackey, Wanda Marlene "Marty" Mackey; and other family members and friends.
