Alice Louise Ratliff, 90, of Linwood, passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion, officiated by Rev. Ruth Deskin-Vest. Pallbearers are Kenny Ratliff, Joey Ratliff, Josh Ratliff, Randy Baldwin, and Michael Ratliff. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Ratliff and Johnny Ratliff. Alice Louise Ratliff was born on Sept. 22, 1931 in Linwood, Ok. to Roy and Rosie Nell (Gilreath) Skaggs. She grew up here and has lived in the Hartshorne/Linwood area all her life. She married Fred B. Ratliff on Jan. 3, 1950. Early on, Alice used her skills as a seamstress working at Seamprufe. She also used those skills at home, sewing, making dresses, and quilting. She was actibe with the Ladies County Home Extension, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Jack Fork Ladies Quilting and the Hard Times Ladies Quilting groups. After Seamprufe she went to work at Oklahoma Aerotronics as a supervisor until her retirement. In addition to sewing and quilting, she also loved to brighten her home with her adult coloring book projects. Alice was of the Baptist faith. Alice is survived by her children, Kenneth V. Ratliff and wife Wendy, Fred Roger Ratliff and wife Janice, Johnny Ratliff, and Linda Baldwin and husband Randy; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a great grandson, Kenneth Daniel Ratliff; 6 sisters, Lois Bryant, Sarah McCord, Florence Suter, Shirley Offill, Merle Cobbs, and Norma Snyder; and a brother, Roy Skaggs, Jr.
