Larry David Hall, 73, of Hartshorne, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, at his home in Hartshorne. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion, with Pastor Richard Dixon officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Larry D. Hall was born on June 9, 1950 in McAlester to Ralph Willard Hall and Dorothy Jean (Russell) Hall. He grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School. After high school he attended Eastern State College in Wilburton before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Southeastern State University in Durant. Larry worked at the bank in Wilburton for a while before moving to Dallas and taking a job with the Dallas Independent School District. He moved back to Hartshorne about 30 years ago to be near his parents. Larry was a big music fan and loved going to concerts. He was especially fond of the Beatles and has every one of their albums, along with hundreds of tapes. Larry was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Hartshorne. Larry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Susan Hall; 2 nieces, Angela Letterman and Mark and their children, Hannah and Julia, and Kimberly Alexander and her children, Deacon and Mara; cousins, Susan Russell Rose and Doug, David Russell and Phyllis, Bill Russell and Pam, Sidney Collins, Paula Collins Thomas and Richard, and Kent Deligans and Pat; an aunt, Dorothy Deligans; a special friend, Christina Couch; and his devoted caregivers, Dodie Volland and Tifani Cox.
