Shirley Ann Bibbs, 75, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born on August 19, 1946 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Edward Austin and Margaret L. (Dickenson) Cheatham. She attended Hartshorne Public Schools and later graduated from Midwest City High School. She married Neil W. Bibbs on December 26, 1970 in Haileyville, Oklahoma. She loved gardening, made flower arrangements for many years and especially loved spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her husband, Neil W. Bibbs; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derrick and Jennifer Bibbs, and Todd Cope; grandchildren, Abigail Bibbs, Adelyn Bibbs, Austin Bibbs and Mackenzie Varner; special family members, Rhonda and Randy Beams; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Edward Cheatham and Joseph Nelson Cheatham. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4th at the Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne with Randy Stevens officiating. Burial will follow. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Brookins, Dr. Mike Tripp, Michael Ray, Mike Carlton, Shane Stevens and Arthur Rich. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Bibbs, Leonard Frank, Randall Wassom, Ethan Hebenstreet, Randal Beams, Karen Beare, Pinky Peace, Royce Beams, the late Jerry Johnson, the late Gary Cunningham and the late Johnny Carlton.
