Ruth Ann (Masters) Rogers, 79, of Crowder passed away on January 24, 2025, at her home in Crowder, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory Funerals service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Reverend G. C. Gray and Doyle Stuart officiating. Burial will follow at Crowder Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dax Johnson, Jayden Rogers, Quade Laughlin, Gage Laughlin, Chase Martin, and Mark Hart. Honorary pallbearers Charles E. Rogers, Charles W. Rogers, Bobby Laughlin, and Kevin Osborne. Ruth was born on March 14, 1945, in Indianola, Oklahoma to Fred Masters and Vera (Johnson) Masters. Ruth was a proud graduate of Crowder High School. On June 1, 1963, Ruth married her beloved husband, Emery "Gene" Rogers, in Canadian, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their two children, Charles and Jeana. Ruth was a cornerstone of the Rogers household, managing her home with grace and serving as the bookkeeper for her husband's business, Rogers Construction. Her organizational skills and attention to detail were unparalleled, contributing significantly to the success of the family business. In her leisure time, Ruth was a woman of many interests. She delighted in sewing, crafting, and in her early years, playing bingo. Her creative talents were evident in her handiwork and the beautiful projects she completed. An avid fan of the outdoors, Ruth cherished the times spent camping at the lake with her family. The thrill of ski trips also found a special place in her heart, as these adventures brought her closer to the grandeur of creation and the company of her family. Ruth's commitment to her faith was evident to all who knew her. She and Emery were active members of the Canadian Full Gospel Church, where they shared their faith-filled lives with a close-knit community. Ruth's unwavering belief in the power of prayer and the love of her church family were cornerstones of her life. Above all, Ruth loved spending quality time with her grandchildren. Ruth's legacy is reflected in the laughter and love that fill the rooms where her family gathers, a testament to the warmth and guidance she provided. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Emery "Gene" Rogers; her parents, Fred Halbert "Dave" Masters and Vera May (Johnson) Masters; her brother, Will Masters; her sister, Rosa Aliene (Masters) Dunn. Ruth is survived by her son: Charles Rogers of Crowder; her daughter: Jeana Osborne and husband, Kevin of Norman; her grandchildren: Bobby Laughlin and wife, Kera, Charlie Rogers and wife, Summer, Mika Osborne, Magan Osborne, Anna Rogers, and Madison Hart her husband, Mark; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth and his wife, Pam Masters and Jack Masters; her sister, Earlene Eldridge; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
