Geoffrey Andrew Morley


Geoffrey Andrew Morley, 63, of McAlester, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in McAlester. Viewing will be Monday, September 6, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service. The family will greet friends and visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Pat Morley. Burial will follow at Choate Prairie Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Air Force Honors Team. Pallbearers will be Rocky Johnson, Frankie Johnson, Kyle Morley, Bill Morley, Brian Munholland, and Antwan Leon, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Dixon, Clay Cullen, J.R. Cooke, and members of the McAlester Broken Bottle Group. Geoffrey Andrew was born to Ralph Eugene and Dovie Willet (Wiles) Morley on September 2, 1957 in Enid. He moved frequently with his military family and lived in many different places including the Philippines; Oklahoma City; Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Enid; and Wichita Falls, Texas. Geoff served in the U.S. Air Force as a lineman. He drove a truck for several years where he traveled all over the United States. He worked for Edison's Plastics and Meeco Sullivan. He was an avid OU football and OU softball fan. Geoff loved to listen to music. He enjoyed old cars and working on them. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working with his hands. He was active in A.A. Broken Bottle Group in McAlester and had been sober for almost 7 years. Geoff was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Dovie Morley, sister: Michelle Morley, niece: Christie Johnson, and a nephew: Korey Morley. He is survived by his son: Geoffrey C. Morley and wife, Leslie of McAlester; daughter: Samantha Parker and husband, Ricky of Norman; grandson: Gage Parker; twin brother: Greg Morley and wife, Bonnie Bowen of Ventura, California; brothers: Pat Morley and wife, Nina of Huntsville, Texas, Ralph Morley and wife, Crystal of McAlester; sisters: Kathy Leding and husband, Ralph of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Paula Morley of Euless, Texas; special friend: Janet Crawley of McAlester; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and friends.
