J.T. Stites was born September 15th, 1939 at Wesley, OK and died May 11, 2006 at Pittsburg, OK. Graveside services are at 6:30 p.m. Monday May 15th, 2006. Officiating is Larry Griffin and final resting place is Pittsburg Cemetery, Pittsburg, OK. Survivors are his wife, Brenda Stites of the home; daughter, Amber Stites Eskew of Pittsburg, OK; granddaughter, Jessica Thompson of Durant, OK; grandson, Bryer Thomas Stites and his mother, Atonya and little brother, Brian, all of Dow, OK; mother, Edith Oleta Parent Stites of Heritage Hills Nursing Center; aunt, Modean Polansky of Heritage Hills Nursing Center; sisters and brothers, Joyce Stites of Pittsburg, OK, Ninas Dunbar of Brimfield, ILL, Bazzel Ray Stites of Jacksonville, FL; He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Bazzel Stites; a son, Michael Oday Stites; sisters, Gevena Stites and Nancy Stites Cyrus; and father-in-law Oscar "Buster" Greenway.
