Bear was born June 10, 1974 in Joliet, Illinois and was a resident of Pittsburg, Oklahoma. He died July 27, 2016 in Green County, Illinois at the age of 42. His mother and father were Ernesto and Betty (Contreas) Preciado. He grew up in Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1993. He belonged to the Teamsters and worked as a truck driver in the oil and gas industry. His life centered around his son. They loved to fish and cook out on the grill. He is survived by his son, Jevan, of the home; mother, Betty, of the home; sister, Cindy Shannon and Jason Watson of Pittsburg; nieces and nephews, Preston and Robyn Shannon, Alexis Shannon, Lea and Josh Shields, Patrick Shannon; aunt and uncle, Jane and Tommy Lyons; aunt, Amelia Barker; great nieces and great nephews, Talan and Wyatt Shannon, Ally Shannon, Axel and Alec Shields and Logan Trammell; cousins: Ronald Ortiz, Lucille Rodriquez, Linda Parent, Sara Kemp, Steven Garcia, Anthony and Julie Rowell; and special family friends George "Cowboy" Rice II and Matthew Rice.
