Jean Bell, 78, of Pittsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 25, at her home. Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Pittsburg with the Rev. Kenneth Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Pittsburg Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Born July 11, 1934 in Finley, she was the daughter of William Bo and Ruby Lee (Page) Shulling. She married Wilburn Bell in August 1952 in Mena, AR. She enjoyed her grandkids and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Anja Bell of McAlester and Larry and Marie Bell of Pittsburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Ron Higgs of Pittsburg. Also, grandchildren and spouses, Justin and Karla Bell, Lewisville, Texas, Tyler and Elizabeth Bell, of Tulsa, Travis Bell, Houston, Texas, Maranda and Brandon Hatridge, of Kiowa, Brandon and Stefany Higgs, of McAlester, and Derek and Stacey Higgs, of Bugtussle. And, great-grandchildren, Grady and Riley Bell, Lewisville, Kinley Hatridge, of Kiowa, Samantha and Madilyn Higgs, of McAlester, and Aiden Higgs, of Bugtussle; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Delores Shilling, of Finley; two aunts, Rose Page, of Finley, and Dovie Underwood, of Finley, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Justin Bell, Tyler Bell, Travis Bell, Brandon Hatridge, Brandon Higgs and Derek Higgs.
