Verto Barron was born November 20, 1937 at McAlester, OK and died December 13, 2004 at Tulsa, OK. Graveside services will be at Pittsburg Cemetery Thursday 2:00 p.m. December 16, 2004. Officiating is Father Leonard Higgins and final resting place is Pittsburg Cemetery, Pittsburg, OK. Survivors include a son, Verto Barron, Jr. and wife Micalana of Red Lake, MN; brothers and spouses, Louis and Liz Barron of Pittburg, OK, Ralph and Rosa Barron of Coalgate, OK, Henry and Beverly Barron of Minneapolis, MN, Antonio Cruz of Coalgate, OK and Gustavo Cruz of Coalgate, OK; sisters and spouses, Lena and George Herandy of Krebs, OK, Alicia and Ben Huerta of Bandara, TX, and Selia Martinez of McAlester, OK; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
