Graveside services for Dorothy D. (Davis) Ilbery were held Monday, August 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Ashland Cemetery with Rev. Bill Weathers officiating. Brown's Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ilbery was born December 17, 1921 in Wardville, OK to Thomas Davis and Ada (Featherston) Davis and passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 in Coalgate at the age of 88.

Mrs. Ilbery graduated from Kiowa School and married Robert Ilbery Sr. on February 19, 1946 at Mt. Vernon, IL. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2009. Mrs. Ilbery was a homemaker and was State President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She attended Cottonwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Steven T. Ilbery and wife Stella of Coalgate; daughter-in-law, Gail Ilbery of Earlsboro, OK; sisters, Lillian Tencher of Indiana, Virginia Harris of San Antonio, TX, and Bernice Dodson of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Tina Pittma and husband Bland of Connerville, OK, Steven P. Ilbery and wife Codie of Checotah, OK, Tammy Presley and husband Charles of Seminole, OK, Krystal Davis and husband Daniel of Shawnee, OK, Kyle Ilbery and wife Amanda of Earlsboro, OK; great grandchildren, Garrett Yeargan, Zachary Ilbery, Charles Presley Jr., Brendon Davis, Taylor Ilbery Pittman, Austin Ilbery, Lydia Ilbery, Miles Pittman, Jacob Pittman, Joe Pittman; great-great granddaughter, Kylie Pittman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and son Robert Lee Ilbery, Jr.
