Verna Lee Dixon-Exekiel, age 85, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Mitchell Manor Convalescent Home.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Adamson Cemetery with Elder Chuck Campbell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Verna was born on October 12, 1931 in Schulter, Oklahoma to Morris Bennett Jones and Ida Lee (Lout) Jones. She lived most of her life in the Adamson area. She was married to Thomas Ezekiel and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Thomas Bennett Ezekiel.
Survivors include 1 son, Douglas Ezekiel and Rita Beeman; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Douglas and Amber Leann Ezekiel, Duane Paul Ezekiel; 1 great-granddaughter, Shilea Ezekiel.
