Robert Earl "Bob" Morris
August 28, 1926 - September 9, 2005


Robert "Bob" E. Morris, Yale resident, passed away Friday, September 09, 2005 in the St. Francis Hospital at the age of 79 years.

The son of the late William Ray Morris and Stella Cumby Morris, Bob was born on August 28, 1926 in Glenpool, OK where he was raised and educated.

He was married to Claudine Dennis for over twenty four years.

Robert was a member and trustee of the VFW in Eufaula; he served in World War II. He was a tool pusher, driller and a cowboy who loved to rodeo.

He is survived by his wife Claudine of the home; three daughters, Mary Sue Cude and her husband Gary, Peggy Kathleen Newton and her husband Don and Candy Lynn Overholt and her husband Mark; one son, Robert Earl Morris Jr. and his wife Paula; four step-children, Sharon K Townsend, Karen Sue Flowers, Faron McKinney and Darrell McKinney; one sister, Gladys Jester and her husband William; grandchildren Kevin and Nicci Cude, Kymberly and Chris Vossler, Lisa and Troy Lewis, Bryan and Laurie Newton, Robbie Lynn and Kevin Hawkins, Casey Lynn Overholt, Emily Ann Morris, Bradley Owen Morris, Braden Lane Morris and Addie Reneé Morris; great grandchildren, Haleigh Carothers, Jennifer Marie Cude, Matthew Haskell Cude and Jess Cody Lewis; numerous step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and other friends and relatives.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Samuels, Virginia Dennis and Patricia Johnson; one brother William Ray Morris, Jr.

Services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Davis Yale Chapel with Reverend Mike Clark officiating.

Burial will follow in the Underwood Cemetery, Yale.
