Viola Ladonna Bailey Petermann
December 1, 1942 ~ February 1, 2020

Viola Ladonna Petermann was born on December 1, 1942 to Roy V. and Catherine S. Bailey [Skulley] of Guymon, OK. Ladonna graduated college at Panhandle State University in 1961 and became a teacher at Ralston, OK.

On July 4th, 1965 she married William "Bill" Petermann in Guymon, OK. To that union, three daughters were born.

Ladonna devoted her life to caring for her family and contributed her time and energy to helping in fellowship. She followed her husband whose career took them to several cities in Oklahoma and even Pakistan.

In 1990 they moved to Stillwater, OK, Bill's hometown and became very active in Sunnybrook Christian Church and the community. During the years Ladonna was a caring teacher, loving homemaker, creative artist, accomplished seamstress, dedicated volunteer, and strong advocate for those less fortunate. She strived for excellence in everything she did and would take on each new challenge full of determination. Her witty sense of humor and giving spirit paved the road for starting and building relationships.

Ladonna leaves behind her husband Bill Petermann of Stillwater, her daughter Kathy LuAnn and husband Eugene Durbin of McAlester, OK, daughter Julie and boyfriend Stefan DelGreco of Atlantis, FL, daughter Lori and husband Shin Obata of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter Taylor and husband Cody Geserick of Lake Jackson, TX and one great granddaughter Claira Geserick, her brother David and his wife Leslie Bailey of Medford; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, special neighbors and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy V. and Catherine S.Bailey.

A visitation will be held 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. Services to celebrate Ladonna’s life will be held 2:30 pm Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater.
