Lois Julia McKaughan (Slaughter), 83, peacefully met her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was greeted by her husband/love of her life Clifford Allen McKaughan Sr. of 64 years at Heavens Gates. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church with Pastor Rusty Rhoads officiating. Her interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lois was a loving Wife, Mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family along with a large amount of friends and church family.
She and her husband had been members of Calvary Assembly of God since 1963.
Lois was born October 28, 1934 to Rev. Chester and Winnie (Hadlock) Slaughter in Stillwater, OK.
She was a homemaker, she loved playing games, working on puzzles, spending time with the family and sharing the word of the Lord.
She is proceeded in death by her Parents; husband; siblings, Elizabeth, Ralph, David, Tressie, Naomi and Helen.
She is survived by her daughters, Doris Martin (John) of Muskogee, Brenda Martin (Niles) of Oklahoma, City; son, Clifford Allen McKaughan Jr. (Kelly) of Mustang; grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah, Jeremy, Alysa, Sawyar, Damion, Cody and Steeli; great grandchildren, Michael, Mikayla, Savannah, Hunter, Jaxon, Reeve, Ainsly and Jaycee; brother, Sam of Oregon and sister Frances of California.
