CLIFFORD ALLEN MCKAUGHAN

Clifford Allen McKaughan Sr. 87, passed away on October 17, 2017 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church with pastor Rusty Rhoads officiating. His internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery. Clifford was a loving Husband, father, grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family along with a large amount of friends and church family. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born on August 4, 1930 to Howard Raymond and Lena May (Berry) McKaughan in Glencoe, OK.

He worked on the family farm until serving in the army from 1951-1953 upon returning home married to the love of his life Lois Slaughter on May 15, 1953 in Pawnee, OK. They settled SW of Stillwater, OK working at CREC 33 years before retirement. Cliff’s joys in life were spending time with his family, listening to Gospel & Blue Grass Music and fishing with his children and grandchildren.

He and his wife have been members of the Calvary Assembly of God since 1963.

He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Lena McKaughan; siblings, Gilbert and Ival McKaughan; LaVern Reece.

He is survived by his wife Lois McKaughan; daughters Doris Martin (John) of Muskoge, Brenda (Niles) Martin of Oklahoma, City; son Clifford Allen McKaughan Jr. (Kelly) of Mustang; grandchildren Daniel, Sarah, Jeremy, Alysa, Sawyar, Damion, Cody and Steeli; great grandchildren Michael, Mikayla, Savannah, Hunter, Jaxon, Reeve, Ainsly and Jaycee; sister Flossie Focht of Perkins; brothers Harold and Jim McKaughan of Tulsa.
