© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma May 2010 Thomas Michael Gay Thomas Michael Gay, 67, died on May 18, 2010 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010. His funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwatern with Pastor Larry Eslinger officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born on August 31, 1942 to E.H. and LaDoris Gay in Beggs, Oklahoma. He married Marilyn L. Watts on November 21, 1966 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He worked in law enforcement for 17 years and was a member of Elks Lodge. Michael enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. He was a real people person, who took pleasure in family gatherings, cookouts, and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents E.H and LaDoris and one brother, Jerry Gay. He is survived by two sons, Donny W. Gay, of Stillwater and Glenn Steven Gay, of Stillwater; one daughter, Melissa S. Hawkins and husband, Jason, of Stillwater; a son from a previous marriage, Thomas M. Gay, of Virginia and one daughter, Lisa M. Holt, of Virginia; three granddaughters, Savannah, Courtney, and Shelby Hawkins; and one sister, Suzette Branton and husband, Charles, of Canton, TX.
