Beula Katherine Flager, 90, of Stillwater, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, in Stillwater. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Timothy Walker officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1917, in Pawnee County, to Thomas Jefferson Ellington and Viola Pearl [Ballinger] Ellington. She married Claud Lewis Flager on Jan. 15, 1937, in Maramec. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2003. She attended school in Locust Grove, Perkins and Coyle. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, William Ellington, Kenneth Ellington and Roy Ellington; and two sisters, Lela Boyd and Thelma Stocker.

She is survived by one son, Harold Flager and his wife, Jeannie, of Stillwater; two grandchildren, Stephanie Flager of Jamestown, Ind. and Jeffery Flager and his wife, Kellie, of Carmel, Ind.; five great grandchildren, Alexis Flager of Carmel, Jacob Flager of Carmel, Ashley Flager of Carmel, Naomee Jordan of Jamestown and Sophia Henderson of Jamestown; two sisters, Erma McBrain of Tulsa and Neva Rourk of Blackwell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
