Alan Francis Fila
October 25, 1956 ~ April 20, 2008


Alan Fila, 51, of Stillwater, died on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Stillwater. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Father Kenneth J. Harder officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on October 25, 1956 in Milan, Italy. He graduated from C.E. Donart High School in 1975 and was a long time employee of Mercury Marine. He was also employed by AOL in Oklahoma City, and later owned his own restaurant called the Magic Lamp. Many friends and family will miss him and his singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ladislaus John Fila and Gertrude [Hill] Fila, both of Stillwater.

He is survived by one brother, Joe Fila of Savannah, Ga.
