Rev Josephine An'Dora [McCroskey] Feighner

Services for Rev. Josephine An'Dora Feighner, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Strode Chapel, Pastor Mark Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. She died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Grace Living Center.

Feighner was born June 25, 1914, in Clark, Colo., to George Eden and Gertrude Josephine (Fink) McCroskey. She graduated from Fredonia [Kan] High School in 1932. On Sept. 17, 1939, she married Glenn Feighner in Chanute, Kan. She and her husband served manychurches across the United States and started four or five churches. The last church was in Red Bluff, Calif.

She had worked at County Hospital in Red Bluff as a nurse's aide, retiring in the early 1970s. She came to Stillwater in 1974 following her husband's death.

She was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Izaak Walton League, Audubon Society and Evening Star HCE Club.

Feighner was predeceased by her parents, husband, one sister, Eileen Robertson; one brother, George H., McCroskey and one stepson, Claude Feighner.

Survivors include one stepson, Robert Feighner of Michigan; two brothers, Rev. Robert McCroskey and his wife Tillie of Bethany and Gene McCroskey and his wife Isabell of Stillwater, and several nieces and nephews.
