Dallas Huston Drumright, 84, of Stillwater, Okla. died Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in Stillwater. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2007, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Kenneth J. Harder officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Drumright was born on November 6, 1922 in Stillwater, Okla. to James Walter Drumright and Lula Emily [Stump] Drumright. He married Stella Geraldine Haskett on September 9, 1944 in Stillwater, Okla.

He attended school in Ripley and graduated from Ripley High School. He served as a private in the US Army and as a Lieutenant in the Stillwater Fire Department. He was a longtime Stillwater resident and member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #1141 for 57 years. He enjoyed photography and was active in the Democrat Party. He loved animals and the outdoors.

Drumright was preceded in death by his parents and one stepsister, Katherine Hesser.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Geraldine Drumright of Stillwater, Okla.; one son, James Drumright and his wife Janet of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Donna Dehls and her husband Larry of Stillwater, Okla.; three grandchildren, Chandra Raine and her husband, Steve of Stillwater, Okla., Ashley Drumright of Tulsa, Okla., and Jacob Drumright of Tulsa, Okla.; and two great grandchildren, Allie Raine of Stillwater, Okla. and Molly Raine of Stillwater, Okla.
