Esta Mae "Pat" [Caldwell] DemareeMarch 5, 1921 ~ November 2, 2008

Esta Mae "Pat" Demaree, 87, of Stillwater, died on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, in Tulsa. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mr. Paul Anderson officiating. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in Sunnybrook Christian Church with Mr. Paul Anderson officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on March 5, 1921, in Payne County, to John Caldwell and Pauline [Ahner] Caldwell. She married Donald Perry Demaree on Dec. 26, 1938, in Winfield, Kan. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1998.

She worked as an office clerk at Amarillo Livestock Auction. She was a member of Sunnybrook Christian Church where she loved her Primetimers Sunday school class. She also enjoyed being a Red Hat Sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Floyd Caldwell and Johnny Caldwell; and two sisters, Mildred Temple and Edna Eyler.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Z Jones and her husband, Ferrald, of Stillwater; two granddaughters, Amber Marlena Z. Ritter and her husband, David, of Stillwater and Tarissa K. Lynn York and her husband, Nick, of Stillwater; one great grandson, Ethan Ritter; two brothers, Glen Caldwell and his wife, Wanda, of Pauls Valley and Jimmy Caldwell and his wife, Rebecca, of Tennessee; and one sister, Grace Smith of Stillwater.
