February 15, 1919 ~ February 1, 1998


Roy L. Crabs, 78, of Okla. City, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1. Born Feb. 15, 1919.

Roy graduated from Perkins High School and received his B.S. from Okla. A&M College in 1948.

He served in WWII as a captain in the Army.

Roy was active in civic affairs in Perkins including American Legion, Lions Club, Town Council, Boy Scout leader, and a volunteer fireman.

He was a Rural Mail Carrier in Perkins for 22 years and patented his invention of a mail carrier which he marketed all over the U.S. In Stillwater,

Roy was a former Governor of the Moose Lodge, and a manager of Brentwood Park Estates. Roy was a member of Soldier Creek Baptist Church in Midwest City.

Survived by wife, Betty of the home; 1 son, Gene Crabs, Pasadena, TX; 3 daughters, Ranay.

Funeral at Soldier Creek Baptist Church with burial at 2:30 pm at Sunset Cemetery, Stillwater, OK.
