October 11, 1934 ~ December 31, 2011


He was the son James Preston and Nola Mae Casey.

Bob worked for G.E. Supply Company for 35 years when he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 52 years marriage, Lura [McLaughlin] Casey.

Bob leaves behind his sons, Ed Casey and wife Sheila, and Andy Casey and wife Jan; daughter, Kim Terpening; brothers, Jimmy Casey and wife Donna, and Ronald Dean and wife Willa Jean Casey; sister, Lula Mae Cornet; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012.

Funeral Services, 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Vondel L. Smith South Lakes Chapel, 4000 SW 119th.

Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Stillwater, OK.

Michael Eugene "Mike" Casey
October 11, 1948 ~ August 4, 2007


Michael Eugene "Mike" Casey, 58, of Stillwater, Okla. died Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Waynesboro, Va. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Norman Richmond officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, Okla. Strode Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Casey was born October 11, 1948 in Stillwater, Okla. to Eugene Thomas Casey and Eva Geraldine [Focht] Casey. He married Kareta Gail Casey November 21, 1979 in Stillwater, Okla., and they enjoyed a wonderful marriage for over twenty-five years.

He owned and operated Casey's Cable Services, Inc., and worked in CATV in Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana for the past 16 years. He enjoyed photography and traveling to interesting places with his wife. He loved his dachshund and Boston terrier dogs.

Casey was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Thomas Casey in 1994, grandfather Raymond Focht in 1975, and grandmother Frieda Focht in 1998.

He is survived by his loving wife Kareta Casey, of Stillwater, Okla.; mother, Geraldine Cox of Stillwater, Okla.; brother, Mark Casey of Stillwater, Okla.; and many aunts, uncles, sister in-laws, brother in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were James "Jimmy" Smith, Jr., Bill Bryant, Brian Szymanski, Charlie Barrett, Larry Cox, and Rick McCubbin.

Ann Kathleen [Stolze] Casey
January 26, 1948 ~ May 31, 2004


Ann Kathleen Casey, 56, of Carney, died Monday, May 31, 2004, in Edmond Hospital.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Strode Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Merrell will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa, Jan. 26, 1948, to Richard Stolze and Jean Derry. She married Dennis Casey July 28, 1985, in Reno, Nev.

In 1956, she moved with her family to LaGrange, Ill. She was a 1966 graduate of Lyons Township High School.

She worked as a secretary for Corey Steel Company for five years then for Horerwen Leather Company. In 1976, she moved to Edmond. She was always active in her son's life and was a PTA volunteer at the Edmond Public Schools. She worked at DJ&J Well Plugging as a bookkeeper. In 1989, the couple moved to Carney.

She later went to work for Dornans Grocery in Carney, working there until October 2003. She was a current employee of Kinder Dozer. She had a flare for decorating and cooking. She enjoyed gardening and will be remembered for her love of animals. She was also known for her quick-wit and caring nature.

She belonged to First Baptist Church of Carney and American Legion Auxiliary - Robert E. Coulter Jr. 1941.

She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother of Countryside, Ill.; her husband; one son, Tom Durhan Jr. and wife, Shannon, of Memphis, Tenn.; three stepdaughters, Denise Dunham of Pittsburg, Kan., Donna Casey of Arizona and Diane Gordon of Perkins; one sister, Nancy Kraus and husband, Jeffrey, of LaGrange, Ill. and nephews, Eric Kraus and Michael Kraus, both of LaGrange, Ill.
