Jaculine "Jackie" [Moore] Canada



Jaculine "Jackie" Moore Canada, 52, died on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Stillwater with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Jaculine was born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 25, 1959. She graduated from high school in Detroit, Michigan, and later moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma. She married Madison Clifton Canada on August 28, 1993 in Stillwater. She was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.


She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Maxine Moore; her adoptive parents, Lee Will and Sadie Mae (Clay) Weathersby; and her sister, Vicky.


She is survived by her husband, Madison Clifton Canada; daughter, Cynthia Odon; five grandchildren, Montachay, Dmonni, Joe (LT), and Jonya Walzer, and Damonta Odom; brother, Donald Weathersby; and three sisters, Brenda, Charmain, and Alma.


Pallbearers will include Bill Burns, Samone Waters, Arvin Thames, Darnell Ellis, Nick O'Dell and Leslie Richards.
