May 26, 1955 ~ January 18, 2008


Vicki Lynn Blevins, 52, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in Little Rock, Ark. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday in Strode Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M. Rick Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born May 26, 1955, in Enid, to Richard and Carlene [Jamison] Brown. She graduated high school from C.E. Donart in Stillwater. She later attended Oklahoma State University and established Vicki Floyd State Farm Agency in Stillwater April 1, 1981. She married Jerry M. Blevins April 7, 1987, in Hot Springs Village. She was the owner of a unique gift store called Company's Comin' in Hot Springs Village.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William H. and Valeta Jamison.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Blevins of Hot Springs Village; parents, Richard and Carlene Brown of Stillwater; one stepson, Jason M. Blevins and wife, Amber, of Miami; two stepdaughters, Michelle Garver of Tulsa and Lise Inman and husband, Tim, of Tulsa; sister, Pamela Nishimuta and husband, Robert, of Arvada, Colo.; brother, David G. Brown of Washington, D.C.; two step-grandchildren, one special nephew, Kevin Nishimuta of Arvada and her beloved companion for 12 years, her dog, B.J.
