Eva "Sue" [Rodgers] Billingslea

Eva "Sue" Billingslea, 94, formerly of Stillwater, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rusty Rhoads officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born May 12, 1914, in Stroud to Frank Rogers and Leona [Wynn] Rogers.

She grew up and attended school around Stroud.

She married the love of her life, Maurice H. Billingslea, on April 7, 1932, in Chandler. This marriage lasted 66 years and four months until the Lord took him home July 29, 1997, at the age of 87. Their home was always a welcome place for friends and loved ones, of which there were many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by one son and wife; three grandsons; three great grandsons; two great granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Her last statement says, "Come and meet me in Heaven."
