Cynthia Louise Armstrong

Cynthia Louise Armstrong, 57, passed away on January 7, 2018, at Stillwater Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at Southside Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, south of Stillwater on Hwy 177, 6500 S. Perkins Rd, Stillwater, OK. Brother Joe Day will officiate.

Cindy was born on August 4, 1960, in Guymon, OK, to Ivan Jay and Cheryl “Deanna” [Richardson] Armstrong. She attended Stillwater Public Schools and graduated from Stillwater High School. Cindy worked at the Sheltered Workshop (MPOWER) for 36 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Denis Jay Armstrong; nephew Aaron Allen Armstrong; grandparents Chester and Cloda Ruth Armstrong, Dan and Bernice Richardson, aunts and uncles.

Cindy is survived by her parents, Stillwater; brother, Anthony “Tony” Allen [Jane] Armstrong, Andover, KS; sister-in-law, Kerry Marie Armstrong, Stillwater; nephew, Andrew James Armstrong, Andover, KS; nieces, Amanda Marie Armstrong, Washington, DC, Rose Ester Armstrong and Lillian Ruth Armstrong, Andover, KS; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends at the Sheltered Workshop [MPOWER] and Stillwater Group Homes.

Pallbearers will be her cousins, Rick Armstrong, Steve Armstrong, Rick McQueen, Zack Richardson, Val Menendez, Andy Armstrong; honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Warden, Carl Bastion, Robert Harshman, and Richard Cavett.

Memorial contributions can be made to MPOWER 516 Expo Circle S Stillwater, OK. 74075, Stillwater Group Homes 904 W. 11th Ave. Stillwater, OK. 74074 or to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1223 S. Perkins Rd. Stillwater, OK. 74875.
