Pearl S. [Sinclair] Allen

Mrs. Pearl S. Allen of 1409 University Ave, died Wednesday, June 8, 1977, in Stillwater Municipal Hospital. She was 83.

Her funeral will be 10:30 am Saturday in the chapel of Reavis Funeral Home. The Rev Lloyd A. Peters will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery

A native of Cloverdale, Ind, she was born April 22, 1894, the daughter of James Douglas and Neblie Talbot Sinclair. She was married to Elbert Frank Allen May 1, 1921 in Cloverdale. They came to Stillwater in 1929 from Colunbia, O. She received her master's degree in 1930 in English and literature from Oklahoma State University. She held her bachelor's segree from the University of Missouri.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; a former school teacher in both Indiana and Missouri and was a past president of Lahoma, American Association of University Women. Book Club and the Research Club.

Her husband preceded her is death, Nov 21, 1963.

She left no immediate family
