James Aubrey Vincent III
September 5, 1952 ~ July 24, 2022


James Aubrey Vincent, III passed from this life on July 24, 2022, at the age of 69.

Jim was born on September 5, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of James Aubrey, Jr. and Mildred Louise [Rhodes] Vincent. Jim grew up and attended school in Tulsa, Oklahoma later graduating from Central High School with the Class of 1970.

Following a short time at Tulsa Junior College, Jim helped his father on the DX Gas Station at the corner of Denver and Brady. Jim later worked for Dowell as a transporter for several years. Jim had a short stint with a local aviation company before starting his 32-year career with Nordam in 1986. Jim retired as one of the company's aircraft damage evaluators.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman. Hunting, fishing, sport shooting and camping are just a few of the activities he enjoyed. Jim was notorious for taking three weeks' vacation during November during hunting season yearly. Cooking and gardening were also things that he took great pride in doing.

Jim was an Eagle Scout and traveled throughout the United States and Canada gaining his merit badges. Jim always enjoyed helping and being around kids serving as a coach for many years.

Survivors are his two sons James Vincent, Jarrett Vincent, five grandchildren Kahne Brooks, Jaymee Vincent, K.C. Crow, Alexandra Vincent, Harland Pryce Vincent and a host of other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James, Jr and Mildred Vincent, wife Sue Hoggard and a sister Carolyn Hurd.

Services will be held 2:30 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland.
