Anthony Lee Snavely
December 12, 1977 ~ March 2, 2010


Tony Snavely, a longtime Cushing resident now of Stillwater, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 32 years.

The son of John and Mary [Pence] Snavely, Tony was born on December 12, 1977 in Stillwater, OK.

He grew up in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1996.

Following graduation, Tony attended O.S.U. for two years, moving to Stillwater in 1997. While living in Stillwater he worked for Fazoli's and Pop Eye's Chicken.

Tony enjoyed hot rods and spending time with his three dogs, Daisy, Little Bear, and Buster.

Survivors include his parents, John and Mary Snavely of Stillwater; one brother, Shane Snavely of Stillwater; grandmother, Etta Marie Snavely; one nephew, Cayman Snavely of Poteau, OK; several cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Everett Snavely; maternal grandparents, Lee and Dorothy Pence; one uncle, Tommy Lee Pence; one aunt, Sunny Mabe; and one cousin, Rick Fogle.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010 in the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Drumright, OK.
