May 2, 1950 ~ October 19, 2004


Capt. Randall Lee Reigh, 54, of Yale, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, in Stillwater Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Yale. Brother Michael Dershem and the Rev. Steve Lopp will preside. Interment will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, north of Yale. Services will be under the direction of the Palmer and Marler Funeral Chapel in Yale. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. The casket will not be opened at the services.

He was born May 2, 1950, in Ardmore, to Thomas and Thelma [Krause] Reigh. He received his early education in Ardmore and was a graduate of the Plainview High School class of 1968 near Ardmore. He received a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1972. He taught high school science and coached girls’ high school basketball at Thackerville.

He married Evonne Whitehead Aug. 29, 1970. They moved to Yale in 1976 and have since resided. After moving to Yale he went to work for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. He started as game warden in Payne County and rose to the rank of captain supervising wildlife enforcement in District 5. He also taught a wildlife law enforcement class at OSU. He was very active in teaching hunter education courses.

He was a former board member of the Oklahoma State Game Wardens Association and also was a former board member of the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association. He was involved with many other wildlife conservation organizations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, Marshall Reigh and his wife, Shana, of Pond Creek and Riley Reigh; one brother, Darryel Reigh and his wife, Phyllis, of Oklahoma, numerous other relatives, friends and co-workers in the wildlife conservation family.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Randall Reigh Memorial Fund for the Yale Public Library, 213 N. Main, Yale, Oklahoma 74085

Evonne [Whitehead] Reigh
September 12, 1949 ~ October 3, 2020


Evonne Whitehead Reigh, age 71, from Yale, OK was born on September 12, 1949 to Albert and Rene Whitehead.

Evonne passed away on October 3, 2020 in Guthrie, OK.

Evonne graduated from Atoka High School in 1967 before earning a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Evonne married Randall Reigh shortly before moving to Yale, OK where she taught kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades until retiring. Evonne also taught Sunday school at the Yale First Baptist Church. Evonne enjoyed traveling, shopping, watching TV but most of all spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters.

Evonne is survived by her sons, Marshall and wife Shana of Medford, OK, Riley and wife Libby of Stillwater, OK, granddaughters Sydney JoLee and Lilia Ruth, sister Carol and husband Donny Darrow of Story, OK, brother Alan and wife Vanessa Whitehead of Atoka, OK, brother-in-law Darryel and wife Phyllis Reigh of Oklahoma City, OK, nephews and nieces Dudley and wife Megan Darrow, Dana Darrow, Emily Reigh, Kenzie and husband Justin Smith, Stasen and wife Kimberly Whitehead, Gabriel Whitehead and Addyson Whitehead, and many great nephews and nieces, dear friends and retired colleagues.

Evonne was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Reign, her father Albert Whitehead, mother and stepfather Rene and Foy Callicoat, and nephew Tyler Whitehead. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Yale, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Oklahoma. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evonne's name to the Yale Public Schools.
