Judy [Pothorst] Jacks
October 15, 1950 ~ May 27, 2015


Judy [Pothorst] Jacks, age 64 of Lone Star, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at her home.

Judy was born on October 15, 1950 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to the late Robert L. and Julia [Suta] Pothorst.

She grew up in Fredrick and graduated from Fredrick High School in 1968, soon after she married Jerry Jacks, together they traveled many places across the country for Jerry’s job.

Judy also worked for Tyson foods for 20 years before moving to Lone Star, Texas.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking trips to the lake, and most of all she loved her cats.

Judy is survived by her brother: Jim Pothorst and wife Linda, two nephews: Richie Pothorst, Jeff Pothorst, two nieces: Jacy Ayers and husband Daniel, Jana Ayers and husband Jessie both of Nashville TN., and several cousins’ friends and family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Richard Pothorst.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday June 3, 2015 at the Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Ok.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Ok.
