BUDDY JERALD O'DELL

Buddy Jerald O’Dell, 81, died on Monday, November 16, 2015 in Tryon, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater. Interment will follow at Kent Family Cemetery in Perkins, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Buddy was born in Sedalia, Missouri on October 16, 1934 to Charles and Ruby O’Dell. Buddy married Phoebe Marion McClellan on September 17, 1959 in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Buddy is preceded in death by his wife Phoebe, son Eugene L. O’Dell, daughter Cheryl L. O’Dell, parents Charles and Ruby and brothers, Russell, Bob and Charles O’Dell.

He is survived by son Jerald Lynn O’Dell and daughter Rachel Lynn O’Dell Walkup and 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, friend and singing partner Francis Diggs.
