2002 ~ April 17, 2002


Michael James Adair, infant son of James Joseph and Nelda Lynn Mayes Adair, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at the Cushing Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Harrell Cemetery, east of Cushing on Ninth Street. Dr. Lonny Lee, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Cushing, will preside.

Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing is directing the services.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kurtis Eugene Matzke and Caleb Joseph Adair, both of the home; paternal grandparents, Dina Benton and her husband Mike of Washburn, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Larry and Nelda Mayes of Meriden; paternal great-grandparents, Joe and Thelma Carpenitli of Seligman, Mo.; and by his maternal great-grandparents, David and Betty Mason of Cushing.
