Faunetta June [Thomason] Wallace
June 16, 1933 ~ August 14, 2016

Faunetta June [Thomason] Lewis Wallace went home to be with her Savior and family Sunday August 14, 2016.

Faunetta was born on June 16, 1933 in the Yost Lake Area of Payne County to Wesley Ira, and Clara Emma Hesser Thomason. She was the youngest of 11 children. Faunetta received her education at Eureka School, and graduated from Stillwater High School, class of 1951.

After graduation, she went to work for the Phone Company in Stillwater before marrying Joe Paul Lewis of Perkins on June 21, 1951. They were married 53 years. While raising their family, Faunetta worked for Bus Jones CPA as a tax preparer and kept the books for Stillwater Country Club and her husbandâ•.s businesses. Later, she became a successful Realtor for 25 years in the Stillwater Community while working at Century 21 and Grindstaff-Harris Real Estate. She volunteered at Stillwater Medical Center Auxiliary and Sunnybrook Christian Church.

On September 21, 2008 Faunetta was married to Harry E. Wallace of Stillwater. They met at church in their Prime Timers Class where they enjoyed several years of friends and fellowship.

Faunetta was dearly loved by family and friends. She always had words of encouragement and wisdom to share. She laughed freely and loved generously. Her beautiful warm smile, expressive eyes, and fun sense of humor will be missed.

She is preceded in death by husband Joe Lewis, her parents Clara and Ira Thomason; son-in-law Brent Westerman; step-son Sam Wallace; nine siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

Faunetta is survived by her husband, Harry E. Wallace; children Wayne Allen Lewis, Faunetta June Pentecost and husband Kevin, Linda Jo Westerman, Suzy Leigh Adamson and husband Robert; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister, Leonia Svoboda.

Services to celebrate her life will be held at Strode Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:00 with Reverend Paul Weece officiating. Memorials may be made in Faunettaâ•us name to the Stillwater Medical Center Foundation and Oklahoma Heart Association.
