Carrol Jean [Matlock] Moore
June 13, 1935 ~ February 17, 2017

Carroll Jean Moore was born June 13,1935 on the family farm in Glencoe, OK to Melvin Matlock & Mildred Marie Matlock. She passed from this life on February 17,2017 in Pawnee, OK having reached the age of 81 years, 8 months, and 17 days.

Carroll married George Wayne Moore on November 1, 1952 at the Pawnee courthouse. They lived five miles southwest of Pawnee from 1952-1959 when they moved south of Glencoe and owned Moore Dairy & Moore Trucking until 1997. They moved back to the original home at Pawnee where they retired and Carroll resided until 2016. In February of 2016 Carroll moved in with daughter Pam and son in law Rick McDaniel where she resided until her death.

Carroll worked at many jobs during her lifetime, the farm with George, Toppers Grocery in Pawnee, Swan Rubber in Stillwater, Stillwater National Bank and Bureau of Indian Affairs in Pawnee where she retired from.Carroll had many interests, cooking, gardening, she loved flowers and traveling, they loved to camp, she loved spending time with family and grandkids.

Carroll's favorite pastime was coffee at McDonalds with her coffee family.

Carroll is survived by son, Scott Moore and family, Sarah, Ashley and Hallie of Pawnee. Daughter Pam McDaniel and husband Rick of Pawnee. Three grandchildren Sandy Waters, Glencoe. Mandy French, Stillwater and Gary Kent Rossander II and wife Stephanie of Glencoe. Six great grandchildren Mica and Tucker French, Chance Waters and Gary Kent Rossander III, Aiden, Vera Rossander,Brother Frederick "Ted" Matlock and wife Donna of Prue and sister Nancy Hancock and husband Myron of Lyons KS.

Carroll was preceded in death by husband George Wayne Moore. Her parents Melvin and Mildred Matlock, sister Willene Robinson and son Michael Wayne Moore.
