Bruce Hardie Huff, 82, passed from this life on Monday, June 25, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the Glencoe South Cemetery. James Beck will officiate. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bruce was born to Arthur “Clyde” and Mary “Alice” Huff on October 7, 1935 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma.

After graduating from Sallisaw High School, he went to Barber College. He married Doris “Arlene” Grote on February 3, 1956.

Bruce was a straight forward person and he expected the same. He enjoyed many hobbies, like the outdoors, fishing, hunting and in his younger years playing softball. He also had a great love for playing the guitar and singing, it didn’t matter if it was just at a friend’s house or various senior citizen centers. His greatest love was for his family, he was a very loving husband and father.

Bruce is preceded in death by his loving wife; both parents; one half-brother, W.N. Young; one sister, Wardner Payne and two half-sisters, Larurn Bushing and Wanda Watson.

He is survived by two daughters, Denise of Stillwater, OK. and Kim (Daryl) of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Memorial contributions can be made to Karman Legacy Hospice, 915 S. Main St. Stillwater, OK. 74074.

Condolences may be emailed to the family and an online obituary may be viewed by visiting www. strodefh.com.
