Monty Duane Anderson
November 28, 1966 ~ June 8, 2002


Monty Duane Anderson, 35, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Lone Chimney Lake.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the IOOF Cemetery, south of Glencoe. Dr. B. Gordon Edwards will preside. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.

He was born in Stillwater Nov. 28, 1966, to Delbert and Jerri [Focht] Anderson.

He married Sara Pittman Feb. 11, 1998.

He attended Stillwater schools and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1985.

He was employed with his uncle, Dale Focht, as a home builder.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at Lone Chimney Lake, where his grandparents used to live nearby and where as a child he spent many precious moments.

He was a member of Bass Pro.

He was predeceased by two grandfathers, Clarence Anderson and Albert Focht.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two brothers, Kevin Anderson and Scottie Anderson and his wife Jan all of Stillwater; grandmothers, Mary Anderson and Mary Focht, both of Stillwater; a nephew, Logan Anderson of Stillwater; a niece, Laikyn Anderson of Stillwater; his aunts and uncles, June and DeLoyd Dodd of Watts and Dale and Vickie Focht of Stillwater; and a number of cousins.
