Litha Lillian Lane Flagor

Litha Lillian Flagor passed away December 9, 2008 at the Green Country Village in Bartlesville, at the age of 89 years.

The daughter of the late Spicer and Nettie Lane, Litha was born December 23, 1918 in Ada, OK and resided in the Cushing and Maramec area where she and her husband were in the farming/ranching business. Due to failing health, they moved to Bartlesville in November 2003 to be cared for by loving family members.

Litha was united in marriage to Cecil Allen Flagor on December 21, 1935 in Cushing, Oklahoma. To this union, one daughter, Cecilia Joanne was born. Cecil preceded her in death on March 24, 2005.

She was a longtime active member of the Council Valley Advent Christian Church near Yale, OK, where she served in various capacities, including teaching Sunday school classes.

As a member of the Rebecca Lodge, she completed all of the offices.

Some of her favorite activities were taking her grandchildren on picnics, playing cards with her friends and helping neighbors in need.

Litha is survived by one daughter, Cecilia Joanne Ward and her husband James of Bartlesville; one brother-in-law, Clifford Charles Eagles and his wife Irene of Yucaipa, CA; one sister-in-law, Patricia Jane Al Khudayri and her husband Tariq of Cascais, Portugal; four granddaughters, Sheryl Deann Dirigo, Shelly Denise Ryan and her husband Ron and Sondra Delene Ward, all of Bartlesville and Sharla Dawn Zuech and her husband Dr. David Zuech of Enid, OK; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and a host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Cecil Flagor; her father, Spicer Lane; her mother, Nettie Lane; one brother, Joe Lane; one sister, Effie Clayborn; one sister-in-law, Maxine Owens and one grandson, Jackie Allen Ward.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Council Valley Advent Christian Church, north of Cushing, with Pastors Jerry Hutchings and Steve Tiger officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery near Cushing.
