Palmer Marler Funeral Home Stillwater, OK May 2019 Laura Renee [Blankley] Moorman August 31, 1965 ~ May 21, 2019 Laura Renee Moorman of Perkins, OK passed from this life on May 21, 2019. She was born August 31, 1965 in Kansas to parents Donald and Hildred [Castle] Blankley. Laura grew up in western Kansas graduating from Oskaloosa High School with the Class of 1983. She attended Kansas University then transferred to OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she would go to work as a bookkeeper for Wittwer Construction for over 20 years. Laura married the love of her life, Steven Moorman on January 23, 1988 in Coyle, Oklahoma. This union was blessed with two children, Jessica and Jacob. The family enjoyed many weekend adventures traveling together and making memories. Laura enjoyed driving the countryside and after becoming disabled several years ago, she spent many hours on the road sightseeing. Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Moorman; parents, Donald and Hildred; and siblings, Marsha and Dennis Blankley. She is survived by her children, Jessica Byram of Cleveland, OK and Jacob Moorman and wife Terri of Stillwater, OK; sister, Sherry Moorman; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Gunner, and Gentry; aunts, Delores Stanley and Ruth Castle and many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Elm Grove Cemetery, Stillwater, OK with Pastor Randell Newby officiating.
