June 18, 1925 ~ May 14, 2010


STILLWATER, Okla. -- Lester R. Judge, 84, died on May 14, 2010, in Stillwater, Okla. His funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater with the Rev. Max Rudd officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery southwest of Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on June 18, 1925, to William H. Judge and Eva May Barns on the family farm southwest of Stillwater.

Lester attended Elm Grove and IXL Country Schools as a child. He then married his wife of 57 years, Geraldine D. Williams in March of 1947. He made a living as a farmer and worked at the Power Plant for the City of Stillwater until retiring in 1997.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva; wife, Geraldine; daughter, Karla; and two brothers, Homer and Elmer.

He is survived by one son, Ken Judge and his wife, Leslianna; two grandchildren, Peter Judge and Kevin Judge; four step-grandchildren and spouses, Felisa Murray, Justin and Kristen Murray, Kenneth and Becky Murray, C. Edwin and Stacey Murray; eight step-great grandchildren; one brother Walter Judge, and wife, Lois, of New Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
