He was born on March 15, 1956, in Hominy, Oklahoma, to Paul Ray and Cloan (Pogue) Goodman. Wendell grew up in Sand Springs, where he started elementary school, before moving with his family to Prue, Oklahoma, where he graduated with the Class of 1974. In 2002, Wendell and Kim moved back to Sand Springs.
Fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, jeeping, attending his grandsons ball games, along with spending time with his family, were significant aspects of Wendell's life. He and Kim participated in Toy Runs and Cancer Charity Rides and enjoyed numerous vacations across the United States. Wendell also took many motorcycle trips, including attending the Sturgis rally and exploring the Appalachian Mountains.
He is also survived by his mother, Cloan Goodman of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his sister, Lisa Goodman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one grandson, Blaine Baldridge; one niece Lanie Brooks and a host of other relatives and friends. Wendell was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ray Goodman, and his wife, Kim.
