Gracie A. Little Eagle Tahkeal

Gracie Little Eagle Tahkeal was born on November 11, 1945 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Annie Little Eagle Minthorn and Rudolph Medina. She passed away Sunday May 8, 2022 in Pawnee.

She was the youngest of two, she had an older sister Paula Fern. She attended Pawnee high school where she graduated and then attended Haskell. Where she graduated in business administration.

She met Lawrence Tahkeal while attending Haskell and later were married. They had two daughters,Tanya Nell Tahkeal and Tamra Ann Tahkeal.

She is always going to be remembered by her infectious laugh and her friendship around the Pawnee nation. She was an avid fan of the University of Oklahoma and never missed a game. She enjoyed music from some of her favorite artist such as Elvis Presley, Percy Sledge and Aretha Franklin. Her family will always remember her from her unconditional love, from being a devoted wife, loving mother and a caring UKUT. She provided strength, guidance and acceptance and believed that that was what builds a family.

Gracie is survived by her husband Lawrence Tahkeal, her two daughters Tanya Nell Tahkeal, Tamra Ann Tahkeal, and her grandchildren Kyle Tony Tahkeal, Ericka Gravant Alcantar and Hunter Lawrence Alcantar. And her four bb’s, Brother Bandit, Gracie Lou, Goppalish and The Queen.
