Phillip Hendrix Gover II, 81 years old, of Jenks, OK passed away on February 9, 2021.
Phillip was born on July 11, 1939 in Pawnee, OK. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves in 1962 and served 6 years and honorably discharged March 1968. Phillip graduated from Northern Arizona University, with a bachelors in Chemistry. Started out his career as a chemist in refineries throughout the United States and Africa, and ended his 40 plus years career as a plant manager specializing in hazardous waste management and renewable energies.
Phillip is survived by his wife Kaye, his daughter Phyllis Pratt and husband Mike; his two sons Phillip Gover III and his wife Tara; David Gover and his wife Cita; his daughter Meghan Markley and her husband Jacob; his sister Phyllis Morales; his brother George "Butch" Gover and his wife Carolyn; his sister Clementine Howell and her husband William; his brother Charlie Gover and his wife Connie; grandchildren, Peyton Pratt, Jace Pratt, Seth Pratt, Aidan Gover, Delilah Gover, Helen Sue Gover, Talan Gover, Benjamin Markley, Nicholas Markley, and Makaylah Markley. He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip Gover, Reva Patterson Gover, his sister Pauline Cox, his brother Bill Gover, his sister Sandra St. Clair, and his brother Garry Gover.
First and foremost, he loved being surrounded by his family's laughter, watching his kids and grandkids play sports, enjoyed going to his kid's music competitions & concerts, golf with his sons, lunch with his daughters, books, cooking, bird watching, skiing in his younger days with kids that had no fear, sunsets and sunrises, and holding his wife's hand.
