As a boy Tom was an avid horse rider and baseball player. In his youth Tom loved the outdoors and fishing with his father. Tom adored his mother Rhoda who was his “angel on Earth”. Tom graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1962 and attended Oklahoma State University.

Tom joined the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1967 as a rookie officer and retired in 1987 having graduated to detective. Tom married the love of his life, Linda Jean (McCann) Cline on December 7th, 1977. Spending most of his early life living in Oklahoma City, Tom and his wife Linda moved to a farm in the Cushing area in 1982 where he raised his children and lived until his death.

After retiring from the Oklahoma City Police Department, Tom went to work for the United States Department of Defense as a Special Agent, retiring from there in 2009. As an adult Tom loved hunting and fishing with his father and sons, and watching his children play sports. He was an avid supporter of law enforcement and a proud member of the Pawnee Nation Tribe. In his retirement Tom enjoyed playing golf, cheering for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and most of all spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play. Tom was a loving husband, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother Rhoda G. Cline of Stroud; and nephew Morgan Lee Hansen of Cody, WY. He is survived by his father T.W.
