Eugene Duane Carroll

carroll-e-d

July 21, 1940 ~ September 18, 2022

Eugene Carroll entered into the presence of Jesus on September 18, 2022. He was 82 years young. He was born on July 21, 1940 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Eugene married Mara Lea Mitchell in Ponca City, Oklahoma on January 31, 1959 and started their family of three children within their first year together.

He started work with Atlas Tank Company at 18 years old. He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. He worked into a foreman supervisor position and through the experience gained there he opened Pawnee Tank Company with his brother-in-law, Jim Ware and Uncle Bob Sledge. They remained open for 20 years, 1974-1994. Then he worked in oil field construction management and inspection until retirement.

Eugene was extremely patriotic and felt it was his duty and honor to vote in every election and was always well informed and spent a lot of time researching candidates.

He was extremely proud of his family and loved watching his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great greatgrandchildren in all their activities.

Eugene loved the Lord and looked forward to entering Heavens gates and reuniting with family and friends that preceded him. And we know that he is in Heaven rejoicing and dancing and praising Jesus, His Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by Mara Lea on January 13th of this year. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Ann and Son-in-law, Johnny Grigg; son, Bobby Gene and daughter-in-law, Alice Carroll; and daughter, Tina Louise and son-in-law, Charlie Banning. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brandi and Jimmy Nicolle, Randy and Genna Banning, Gregg Grigg and Jenn Howard, Lindsey and Chris Moak, Lacey Davis, Mandy Pickering, Bobby Gene and Stephanie Carroll, Scotty Carroll, and Aaron Carroll; and great grandchildren, Braxton Figueroa, Kylie and Viv Cardenas-Moak, Shelby and Zac Wilson, Colton Gaskey, Bailee and Trey Aragona, Rowdy and Micah Gaskey, Jesse Gaskey and Scarlett Murphy, Madison Nicolle, Gage Banning, Trey Pickering, Tyson Pickering, Austynn Nicolle, Gunner Nicolle, Kianna “Kiki” Gray, Benjamin Davis, Trinity Wallace, Lily Carroll, Connor Carroll, Liam Carroll, Riley Banning, Emmie Carroll, Casey Carroll; and great-great-grandchildren, Mason Gaskey, Braylee Gaskey, and Cavatica Gaskey.
